WELCOME!

Hello, thank you so much for your interest! What you’re seeing is a Latah Valley field filled with more than 600 unique varieties of dahlias, each one more beautiful than the next. Dahlias, in case you’re not familiar, are wonderfully finicky but truly breathtaking flowers native to Mexico and Central America. These charming plants belong to the Asteraceae family, which also includes sunflowers, daisies, and chrysanthemums—some of the most beloved garden flowers. Dahlias are a genus of tuberous, bushy, perennial plants , treasured for their large, vivid blooms that appear in nearly every color imaginable—except blue. Their flower sizes vary widely too, from delicate small pompoms to dramatic dinner plate-sized blossoms, offering a spectacular array for any garden or bouquet. Here in our 7a growing zone, these lovely blooms typically start to show their vibrant colors from mid to late July and will continue to brighten the field until the first frost of the season. We invite you to read Our Story to learn more about our passion and journey growing these incredible flowers!
